During the beta, some features might not be available yet. As of now, instances are not available immediately, as they need to be manually provisioned. Also there is no customer-facing portal to configure system aspects, this needs to be done via support@vshn.ch. While other features might also still be missing, the core functionality of Forgejo can be used.
Still, the service is stable and can be relied upon.
During the beta, an invoice is sent once per month which can be payed either by bank transfer or credit card.
Codey comes with batteries included, meaning everything is right there (compute resources, cloud infrastructure, and so on), whereas the VSHN Application Catalog service "Forgejo by VSHN" runs either on APPUiO or on a VSHN Managed OpenShift cluster.
